(Here is a basic list of some of the announcements and developments from Red at NAB. As I get the details more organized, I will fill them in.)

* Peter Jackson short, shot on Red prototypes
A 12 minute short period film, set in World War 1, was the subject matter of the Peter Jackson "test footage" shown at NAB. Veteran Camera Operator and DP, Richard Bluck (LOTR, King Kong, etc.) handled the Red One prototypes "Boris" and "Natasha" in a limited feature set that was basically Run/Stop at 24fps, 180 degree shutter.

* Working Cameras / Accessories shown in booth
Several Working Red One Cameras were setup and working with hands on access. Each camera was showing different features and accesories functioning, such as the LCD screen, Electronic View Finder (EVF), Red Drive, Red Cage, etc.

* Working RedCine Software shown in Booth
A workstation was setup with demonstration of the RedCine software. Various modes of working with the interface were shown as well as color grading and conforming operations.

* Partnership with Apple for support for RedCode in Quicktime/FinalCut
RedCode was being shown in Apples booth as being compatible in Final Cut Pro as well as a mode of working in a proxy mode whereas $k footage is being edited, but 2K or lower is what is shown on screen and managed in the UI. This allowing for faster workflows.

* Tentative Shipping Dates
Dates were released for a tentative schedule. Though slight delays were mentioned recently, this is the latest we've heard: http://www.redcamcentral.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=103

* New Prime Lens Set and New Zoom Lens
A new line of lenses made or licensed by Red was announced:
RED 300mm F2.8 LENS
Delivery time for the RED 300mm f2.8 is similar to RED ONE™ camera body. Choose any Super 35mm PL mount lens, Super 16mm PL mount lens, or optional B4 lens mount. Estimated Ship Date: Early 2007 MSRP: $4995

RED 18-50mm F2.8 CF LENS
Delivery time for the RED 18-50mm f2.8 close focus zoom lens is scheduled for Summer 2007. MSRP: $6500

50mm f1.9 85mm f1.9
MSRP: $19,975
Estimated Ship Date: End of 2007

* Development of remotely controllable Canon EOS lens mount

* Support for Cooke Optics /i technology for recording key Lens and camera data

* Plans for developing new line of 4K Displays and 4K Projectors

Only info so far is that it will be a "Professional Camera"
