Here is some additional info re: Pricing as well as the Reservation Holder's Allowance (Discount) that was released today by Jim Jannard:

"Each reservation holder #1-1475 will receive a one time allowance of $2500. This amount will be deducted from the total invoice for RED ONE camera and accessories on the initial order. $2500 will apply to each serial number for those that have multiple reservations.

For example, if you buy a RED ONE for $17,500 and say $6,500 worth of accessories... the total would be $24,000 minus $2,500 = $21,500.

Just a note regarding the pricing:

All along Red have been hoping to offer the Camera, LCD, Battery, and Charger for the price of $17,500. As you can see, the price list above reflects a slightly higher overall price, however, the end result will now be a much superior product than that which was originally announced.

It really is not too much more (espcially for the reservation holders that get a nice discount), and looks to be still coming in at the same time frame for shipping, which is quite an achievement if successful.

They have constantly said, "the specs may change at any time, count on it", so I have to take this as good news seeing as the final version will now have
a bigger, repositionable LCD Screen, and a much better battery/power system.
