At the Jan. 16th "RED Day" event, held at Ren-Mar Studios, it was announced that RED has actually purchased Ren-Mar and will be setting up shop there so they are more accessible to support their Cameras for the industry in Hollywood.

Ren-Mar had originally been DesiLu Studios and will now be called RED Studios Hollywood. The 5 completely remodeled sound stages were the original location for such famous shows as "I Love Lucy", "“The Jack Benny Show", "Hogan’s Heroes", "The Dick Van Dyke Show", and many other classics.

In recent years, the studio, owned and operated independently since 1974, has been home to television, film, music video and special
event producers of a new generation.
