Photos recently released by RED show Peter Jackson working on his World War I project, "Over the Front", for the Australian War Memorial.

He is also supposed to be developing a WWII project called "Dambusters", which is based on the true story of how the British attacked the Germans in WWII by using an ingenious technique to drop bombs on hydroelectric dams in the Ruhr Valley.
A film by the same name was made on the subject in 1955 as well as a few documentaries.
From the photos on this particular project, it appears that Peter has decided to shoot in a manner similar to "Cinerama" which was developed in the 1950's where images are shown using 3 projectors and a curved screen, totally immersing the viewer. Perhaps this technique will now be called "REDorama".
More information we we hear of it.
Again, it seems that these photos are are from "Over the Front", but "Dambusters" is in development, so who knows.
