RED has a new compact lightweight case for the primes that should start shipping tomorrow. It is much smaller and lighter than the previous one with better foam and a few cool other features. (Also in the works are more lenses such as an 18mm Prime).
Below is a photo along with a size comparison to the larger case:
New case: Height: 13.25". Width: 20.25". Depth: 14.75". Weight: 23.25 lb
Old case: Height: 16.25". Width: 24.50". Depth: 17.00". Weight: 27.00 lb
