RedCam Central :: View topic - REDCINE-X alpha version released

Today, RED released into the wild it's first alpha version of the much anticipated new version of REDCINE entitled REDCINE-X. This application was built from the ground up and is said to eventually become the app of choice for processing / viewing RED footage.

According to RED's Jarred Land:

"Remember this is an ALPHA... somewhere between a Proof of Concept and a Beta build. There is no support for this, and I recommend not using it on productions.

This is the framework.. Not alot of gloss yet and alot of things work a bit off.. but it is cool as hell. Will work with or without REDRocket.

Also, here is the link to the Demo Video of REDCINE-X thread, posted a while back. While the interface and feature set does not yet match the demo, the alpha version is coming along.
