RED's Jarred Land released this statement online today (November 10th 2008):

"I'm happy to announce that we have officially caught up on all numbered reservations for the RED ONE. New camera orders, starting tomorrow, will be allocated and fulfilled as they are placed. ( there of course will still be the standard payment/processing time )."

The RED website last listed the "now serving" number at #4751 - #5325. So I imagine that means over 5000 RED ONE Cameras are now in the field since shipping began on August 31st, 2007.
