The RED RAM Drive (solid state drive) that begun shipping in small amounts recently has just been listed on the RED.com website as 128GB, an upgrade from the previous 64GB model.
The good news? The price is exactly the same as the 64GB model, which is $4500.

While a bit pricey compared to the 320GB RED DRIVE (platter based Hard Drive) which only costs $900, the RED RAM Drive can be used in certain situations such as high vibration or shake situations where a moving-parts drive could fail, such as on a helicopter rig or picture-car setup.
