Check this out. Action Products, makers of the Action Cam camera stabilization system, introduces the View Box, which is an enclosure for the RED LCD
and basically turns it into an EVF of sorts.

Another Product they offer is the SwapPack which allows for two RED batteries to be hot swappable and prevents the need to power down and restart the Camera during this process.
