Well, it's that time of year again, and everyone is getting excited about what NAB will bring. I'm still amazed at how much has transpired and how far RED and the entire community has come over the past year.

It's interesting to take a look back at last year's NAB, the status of the project, and the developments since.

I'll be going again this year (which will be my 10th NAB!), so stay tuned for the exciting stories and interesting photos I will be posting in the coming days.

Jim has stated that RED will have at least 3 minor surprises/ new products, and 3 major ones.

My guess is that some of this includes:

1) 3K Scarlet Pocket Professional Camera
2) Some kind of Playback device (possibly a recording device as well)
3) 4K Displays / Projectors
4) RED Matte Box
5) Support for Scratch-Cine
6) 4K in Final Cut

Just some educated guesses, but either way, if even one or two come true, it will be another huge showing.
