Several sources tell us that Panavision has possibly 5 RED Cameras on order. (This might be through the Plus-8 aquisition).
This is an interesting development, because Panavision plans on and may already have raised their prices due to supply and demand issues. Apparently, there are a lot of shows working not enough Cameras to go around.
Perhaps if the first 5 REDs are succesful, there may be a lot more ordered.
