RED's Jim Jannard on RED EPIC power:
"The older RED Bricks are one of the primary choices... and do last longer on an EPIC than a RED ONE.
I like the handle batteries for kicking around in "DSMC" mode. They last about 20-30 minutes (maybe a bit longer as we keep improving power management of the electronics). Nothing but camera, side SSD, handle and LCD (or EVF).
The rear battery module (up to 4 handle size batteries or 2 of the bigger ones) is another option but is really for studio configurations. Those are nice because you can keep the camera going by replacing each battery that goes dry while the camera is still running on one of the others.
And then there is A/C." _________________ Casey Green
