RED has released a quote from Rodney Charters, Cinematographer on the FOX hit series, "24" regarding his experience in recent tests with the RED ONE camera. Here is what he had to say:
"I have had the opportunity to test the RED ONE camera over the past few weeks, including a direct comparison to the same film I shoot on "24". All I can say is that I am totally amazed. Revolutionary might not be a strong enough word to describe what RED is doing."
According to RED Founder Jim Jannard, RED has "opened it's doors to Rodney and Robin (Robin Chamberlain, "24" Co-Producer??) for full testing without limits."
It seems RED has been steadily building momentum since getting past their engineering delay last month. To say these are exciting times in the world of filmmaking technology would be the understatement of the past 30 years.
