Initially, REDs tests were saying that the ISO rating would probably be around 320, but after a board redesign and new testing on several Features currently in production, Jim Jannard had this to say:
"Today, we believe the RED ONE camera should be rated at ISO 500. A bit depends on the scene. But we are rating at ISO 500 for everything here on the "Wanted" set."
This is great news as it will allow the Camera to be even more flexible to low light settings and other environments. It also should be noted that proper use of ND Filters in certain setups is recommended (as always).
