Ok, I've been extremely busy contracting for another company that has a booth here at NAB, and I thought I would have more time to get to a computer and upload some content.
Well, here is how my day went. This is the extreme truncated version... I'll edit this post later with better details... (edit: See newer posts). I arrived early at the show floor and since I was an exhibitor, had access right away. I got caught up working on some details at our booth, and ended up over at the red booth at around 9:20am. It was packed with a line around the corner and they were screening the recent footage.
Even red reservation holders were being asked to wait in line if you were under res 200 or so. Jim Jannard was personally seeing people into the theater they setup in the booth and when I finally got inside, we were treated to a wonderful surprise... Peter Jackson's short film of a war story all shot on Red.
There were aerial shots (bi-plane duels), gunfights, explosions, tanks, - and the footage looked insanely gorgeous.
Below are some pictures I managed to get at the show... I wouldn't dare take any during the screening... those of you there know what I mean.
