RED's Ted Schilowitz had this to say about STORM:

"Having seen STORM in detail, I'd describe it as REDCINE-X on steroids... The Foundry have looked at RED Workflow in great detail and taken logical integration with RED to a very evolved state. "The STORM Public Beta is available for free trial until 1 March 2011. To participate, please complete the form below, and we'll inform you when new versions become available.

Important

* STORM requires a Mac Pro, MacBook Pro or iMac with at least 2GB RAM running Snow Leopard. If a RED ROCKET card is fitted, STORM will use it to speed up processing of R3D material.
* If you have questions or problems using STORM, please post them on the the STORM forum on REDUSER.net where our STORM team and other STORM users will help."
