"We are announcing the release of the new RED 17-50mm T 2.9 Pro Zoom. Deliveries will begin in about one month. This lens is built to the same optical and mechanical standards as all other RED Pro lenses like the 18-85mm zoom and the RPPs. Price will be $6,000. Photos will be up soon.

This is the lens that was used for "Snappy" and the ISO 4000 footage.

Our standard RED 18-50mm T3 zoom will be discontinued and will go on sale starting tomorrow for $3995 until supply runs out. Progress."

"This lens will fit Arri cameras. It has a shorter flange depth than the RPPs. No data link.

Minimum Focus is down to 4" in front of the hood, 11" from focal plane and Marked 1 foot on the lens.

Weight is 3.4 lbs.
