Here are some of the ways to use the Calavera:

CHEESE PLATE:

Eisenstein-inspired design with Four tapped surfaces of black, hard-anodized (teflon-impregnated), aircraft-grade aluminum. 1/4-20 taps based on Red spacing, but doubled-up…

…and double-dimensioned. (Please note: We eliminated the sharp corners you see on the prototype. The anodized version you see above is the actual production model.)

3/8-16 ARRI spacing between nose and forehead for low-mode. Handle-top alignment allows for low-mode attachment without any disassembly.

Frees up space under handle, negating need for risers.

HANDLE EXTENSION:

Don't leave your Red hanging by a thread!

DRIVE MOUNT:

Optional configuration with guide screw and nylon-tipped thumbscrew, along with dimensional precision, keep a death grip on your drive. (nylon-tipped thumbscrew not pictured)

BATTERY PLATE MOUNT:

Top face tapped for Red battery plate.

ANGLE PLATE:

Need extra vertical resolution when you’re in the field? No problem.

3/8-16 taps under chin. 3/8-16 clearance on forehead. 1.5" centers.

HANDLE CHEESE:

Add an extra dimension to hand-held camera manipulation. Red handle thread on forehead.
